The wireless mouse, with its core advantages of Bluetooth/2.4GHz wireless connection, portability, compactness, and multi-device compatibility, has become a must-have peripheral product for office, e-sports, and home scenarios in Thailand. It is suitable for various usage scenarios such as local small and medium-sized enterprises' offices, e-sports clubs' events, and personal home entertainment. It is a key product for foreign trade enterprises to enter the Thai consumer electronics peripheral market. It is important to note that all wireless mice with wireless transmission capabilities must obtain NBTC certification - that is, the mandatory radio equipment certification implemented by the Thai National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission based on the Radio Law. This is a legal prerequisite for the product to pass through Thai customs inspection, enter local e-commerce platforms, and offline digital stores. There are no exemptions. Wireless mice that have not obtained NBTC certification cannot complete customs clearance and will face detention of goods, heavy fines, and even be banned from entering the market due to violations of Thai radio regulation, directly affecting cross-border order delivery and the brand's reputation in Thailand.

Unlike large wireless devices, the NBTC certification test for wireless mice is more targeted. It completely breaks the template logic of past certification documents and focuses on three main dimensions: "low-power radio frequency compliance + signal stability + electrical safety." This is in line with the lightweight and low-battery life characteristics of the product. The certification testing focuses on three directions: First, radio performance testing, which is the core assessment item of NBTC certification, strictly verifying the working frequency band of the wireless module (2.4GHz is the main one, some Bluetooth mice are compatible with 5.0GHz), transmission power, and radio indicators in low-power mode to ensure complete compliance with the authorized frequency band and power limits stipulated by the Thai Radio Law, avoiding interference with local public communication networks and other wireless peripherals, and ensuring the stability of signal transmission under low battery conditions; Second, electromagnetic compatibility testing, verifying the electromagnetic radiation and anti-interference ability of the equipment during operation, adapting to the dense electronic equipment usage environment in offices and homes, and eliminating problems such as mouse freezing, disconnection, and delay caused by electromagnetic interference; Third, electrical safety testing, detecting the power supply stability, battery safety (charging), and insulation performance of the mouse, conforming to the mandatory safety standards for electronic peripherals in Thailand, and eliminating potential safety hazards such as leakage and overheating during use.

To obtain NBTC certification for wireless mice, overseas enterprises must strictly follow the exclusive regulatory norms of the Thai market. The core mandatory requirement is to appoint a local legal agent in Thailand to handle the connection with the NBTC certification agency, submit application materials, and bear corresponding legal responsibilities. This is a necessary prerequisite for overseas enterprises to obtain this certification. Enterprises need to first clarify the core information of the wireless mouse, such as its wireless frequency band, transmission rate, and power consumption parameters, and confirm the certification category; then prepare samples that are completely consistent with the production batch specifications and send them to a third-party laboratory recognized by NBTC for full-item testing. At the same time, organize complete sets of materials such as product manuals, technical specifications, and wireless module test reports in Thai or English, and submit them to the certification agency for review.

After passing the tests and review, the wireless mouse must be marked with the certification logo and number on the body and packaging according to NBTC specifications to be compliant for export to Thailand. In practice, three core misunderstandings need to be avoided: Ensure that the wireless module frequency band and transmission power are strictly compatible with Thai radio regulations to avoid radio test failure; The parameters and functions of the submitted samples and the production batch products are completely consistent to avoid subsequent market random inspections; Properly retain certification materials and test reports to facilitate regular verification by Thai regulatory authorities. For wireless mouse production and sales enterprises, NBTC certification is a hard threshold for entering the Thai market. Only by strictly completing the certification in accordance with the norms can risks of compliance be avoided and product circulation be achieved legally. Obtaining the NBTC certification is the foundation for enterprises to steadily expand their operations in the Thai market, and it is also crucial for ensuring the long-term development of the brand.
