On June 4, 2021, the European Commission approved Directive (EU) 2021/903, amending the Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC, adding aniline to the Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC Annex II Appendix C, restricting the supply of 36 The requirement for the use of aniline in toys used by children under the age of six months or other toys intended to be put in the mouth will be formally implemented from December 5, 2022.
