About Ching Ming Festival
Ching Ming Festival, also known as Outing Qing Festival, Xingqing Festival, March Festival, and Ancestor Worship Festival, the festival is at the turn of mid-spring and late spring. Qingming has two connotations of nature and humanity. It is not only a natural solar term, but also a traditional festival. Ching Ming Festival is a traditional major spring festival.
Ching Ming Festival Food
During the Qingming season, there is a custom of eating green dumplings in the south of the Yangtze River. Green dumplings are made by squeezing the juice from a wild plant called "Lipwort", then using this juice to grind pure glutinous rice flour with dried water and then start making dumplings.
