Author:中认联科 time:2022-10-20 Ctr:473

With the increasing improvement of people's living standards, the common objects such as electric kettle are also developing towards multi-function. The current electric kettle can not only prevent leakage, scald, and lock water, but also has the advantages of fast heating speed, good insulation effect, strong filtering function, and many product styles, which are popular with the public. However, CE certification is required for such products to be exported to the EU market.

What is CE certification?

The "CE" mark is a safety certification mark, which is regarded as a passport for manufacturers to open and enter the European market. CE stands for Conformite Europeenne. In the EU market, the "CE" mark is a mandatory certification mark. Whether products produced by enterprises within the EU or products produced in other countries, if they want to circulate freely in the EU market, they must be affixed with the "CE" mark to indicate that the products meet the basic requirements of the EU New Method for Technical Coordination and Standardization. This is a mandatory requirement of EU laws on products.

CE certification provides a unified technical specification for the products of various countries to trade in the European market and simplifies the trade procedures. The products of any country that want to enter the European Union and the European Free Trade Area must be CE certified and affixed with the CE mark. Therefore, CE certification is a passport for products to enter the markets of EU and EFTA countries.
